The Tundra has been created in response to the increasing technicality in the gravel discipline. Designed for year-round riding, the Tundra is at home on everything from muddy woodland trails to super technical rocky descents. All while maintaining the fast rolling speed Hutchinson tyres are renowned for, to tackl hard-packed gravel and roads linking the trails.

UNLIMITED GRAVEL

Its gravel specific tread profile has been meticulously designed to give the rider a more secure feel through the most technical of routes. Using Hutchinson’s MTB expertise and drawing inspiration from our Black Mamba tyre, it is ready to tackle off camber singletrack, greasy roots and loose descents.

Engineered for unrivalled performance in the mud, we have removed all but the most important tread blocks, leaving as much room as possible for mud clearance.

As a Hutchinson tyre the Tundra is Tubeless Ready and utilises a range of technologies to keep riders rolling, no matter how tough the conditions become.

The tan wall version is made in France and reinforced with a layer of Hardskin textile grid that stretches from bead to bead to ensure optimum puncture resistance. While the bi-compound rubber ensures a hard wearing central tread is matched by incredible grip in the corners.

The tyre is the culmination of years of gravel development by Hutchinson – a journey that began with the Overide, a fast rolling tyre designed to allow riders to stay fast on the tarmac as rides began to stray from the road.

As the discipline has grown so has the Hutchinson range. Next came the Touareg, a standout performer on dry, hard-packed gravel designed for the all day epics that typified the explosion of gravel riding into the mainstream.

Now as gravel bikes become more capable and riders continue to push both the discipline and their equipment to the limits, the Tundra comes at a perfect time for all. A true all-rounder designed to tackle terrain and conditions previously reserved for Mountain Bikes.
