Free Dynamic Bike Fit
A bike fit is a essential for all cyclists, regardless of skill level or goals.
The Total Endurance Bike Fit encompasses aerodynamics, power output, and comfort, with the ideal mix varying depending on one's cycling aims.
During the fitting process, we use a combination of science, technology, rider feedback, and over 25 years of bike fitting experience to achieve the most efficient and comfortable position on the bike.
Personal biomechanics and goals are also taken into account, with improvements such as increased comfort, handling, power output, reduced injury risk, and reduced pain and numbness being some of the benefits of a bike fit.
You don't have to be an elite bike rider to benefit hugely from having the best possible position on your bike. We use a mixture for science and technology, rider feedback and 25+ years of experience to put you into the most comfortable and efficient position on your bike, taking into account your unique physiology, flexibility and cycling goals.
There is no "one size fits all" as we are all different shapes and sizes with differing amounts of flexibility and different aims and goals. During your bikefit we work with you to achieve the optimum fit for you..
About Falcn
The Falcn Essential builds on the success of this Falcn RS.The performance geometry and tyre clearance of 34 millimetres are identical, and the diffuser fork crown and universal derailleur hanger (UDH) are also retained.
This geometry was carefully designed by Ridley's product developers with a focus on speed, stability and responsiveness. The head tube length is shorter than that of the Noah Fast and Helium SLX, providing a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket is located lower because it has been adapted to the ability to ride with thicker tyres. so the rider maintains excellent control.
The points of difference are in the round seatpost on the Falcn Essential (versus a D-shaped seatpost on the Falcn RS) and the carbon composition. Nevertheless, the frame of the Falcn Essential still weighs only 990 grams.

Optimized Tire Clearance
Over the years, there has been a growing trend toward the use of wider tires on road bikes. The Falcn is designed around 28 mm tires and has a maximum tire clearance of 34 mm, providing greater tire clearance than the standard maximum of 28 mm found on most current road bikes. This allows for more comfort and reduced rolling resistance, as wider tires can be used at lower pressures.
With its increased tire clearance, the Falcn offers superior performance on paved roads and beyond. The Falcn even excels on poorly maintained roads and cobblestone sections. It is the perfect companion to take on new challenges and perform at the highest level in road cycling.
The ultimate all-round performance-oriented bike
The Falcn is the ultimate all-round performance-oriented racing bike that offers a perfect balance between lightweight and aerodynamic design. It is the ideal bike for riders who demand the best from themselves and their equipment thanks to its lightweight frame, aerodynamic features, race geometry, and reactive handling. Cobbles, steep climbs, and fast races: this bike can handle it all.
Aero-To-Weight
The focus in the road bike market used to be on stiffness versus weight, but has recently shifted to the balance between aero and weight. Ridley decided to combine the best of both worlds with the Falcn, meaning it has been made as aerodynamic as possible without sacrificing the bike's weight. The Falcn has a similar aero performance to the Noah Fast and weighs just 990g (in size Medium), meaning cyclists no longer have to choose between lightweight and aero.
Diffuser fork crown
The fork crown has an integrated diffuser to reduce drag. The airflow passes more easily through fork crown while extra energy is added to it. The result is that the airflow passes the downtube more easily without pushing the bike back. At the same time there is less drag in the area behind the fork and headtube.
Less resistance, more speed!
Removable front derailleur clamp
UDH Hanger
The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. Not only is this derailleur hanger compatible with all modern shifting groups, it also protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops. In mountain biking, UDH has long been very common, and Ridley is bringing the technology to other segments as well.
