Total Endurance is rooted in offering the highest quality 121 cycle coaching to all levels of athletes. Our number one goal is to help you improve your cycling through knowledge, experiance and fun.

The Total Endurance coaching team consist of 3 coaches; Ken Bryson, Kevin Watson and Ewan Stirling (based in Inverness). Ken leads the team with over 30 years of coaching cyclists improve and has worked with a range of cylsists including Scottish record holders, Commonwealth games athletes and athletes just looking to improve their fitness through cycling.

All Total Endurance coaching plans are fully customised to each athlete's individual needs, including training history, current fitness level, strengths and weaknesses, goals, and time availability. A successful training plan isn't just how many hours you can ride your bike for but finding how we work togehter to integrate the training required to reach your goals into your work and family life. With a structured training plan you'll be amazed at how much you can improve by helping you maximising your available training time.

 

The coaching process starts with an initial consultation meeting where we can find out a bit more about you and what you are looking to do. During the consultation meeting we aim to understand your training history and previous experiance and gives you an opportunity to ask questions about our coaching packages.

Following the inital consultation we will then put together an anual overview that maps out the training plan and detail the goals you are targeting and working on the steps we think it will take to get there. We will usually meet with you again to chat through the overview and answer any question you have before starting.

Cycling Foundation Plan

Description of the training plan

The Cycling foundation plan is a step up from following a generic training plan where we work with you to define your training goals and understand your strengths and weaknesses and build a plan that will help you improve your bike performances in a detailed and progressive manner.

This plan is ideal option for those looking for more individualised training advice and keeps you accountable to the training and don't need as much detail and analysis to help them improve. While this plan has less analysis than the Performance plans, we will still meet with you regularly to discuss your progress and refine the plan as you improve.

 

What the plan includes
  • Initial annual Overview where we map out your goals and detail the steps needed to get there
  • 8 - 12 week individualised training schedule built using Training peaks
  • Bi-monthly Training block review and tracking progress towards goals
  • Discount to Total Endurance Training Camps

Cycling Performance Plan

Description of the training plan

The Cycling Perormance Plan stands as the ideal choice for athletes seeking enhancements in their cycling performances.

Our approach is rooted in regular training reviews and collaborative planning, ensuring that each training block is strategically tailored to help you achieve optimal improvements within the constraints of your available time and other life commitments.

As experienced coaches, we bring our knowledge and deep understanding of individual physiology and psychology to help you improve.

As part of this plan we will build an initial overview that lays out the route to success and the steps that we need to take in order to achieve your goals.

  • Initial Overview
  • Option of Weekly or 4-6 week individualised training schedule built using Training peaks
  • Monthly review meeting with coach with tracking progress towards agreed goals

Cycling Performance Plus Plan

Description of the training plan

The Cycling Performance Plus plan builds from the Performance plan but with addtional testing and anlaysis built into the monthly cost.  

This plan is the ideal choice for athletes who want more detailed analysis for one of the sports and we can maximise your training using data and analysis to understand what limits you and create a detailed action plan on how to improve with follow up sessions to track the improvements over time.
