 Size Guide

If your budget is under £300 the Orca Fina gives you a phenomenal amount of flexibility for the money.  Combining great flexibility and thermal properties for a perfect open water swimming.

Ideal wetsuit for swimmers looking for flexibility and a lower level of buoyancy.

Key Features:

FINA APPROVED: This wetsuit is the first to have FINA's certification, meaning it has passed the exhaustive tests performed by FINA before they approve products. It can therefore be used in official FINA open water competitions.

YAMAMOTO 40: Yamamoto 40 is used in the shoulders and back together with the Infinityskin lining. This material can stretch by up to 130%, more than double its original size, providing maximum performance in your swim stroke. For the wide range of movements that occur in the shoulders, it offers 72% less resistance than a conventional wetsuit.

THERMAL INSULATION: The torso features Yamamoto 39 technology which ensures sufficient thermal insulation for competitions. Its 3 mm thickness together with the infinityskin lining ensure 77% more protection than if you did not wear a wetsuit.

Wetsuit Sizing:

Wetsuit sizing is one of the hardest but most crucial parts of selecting the best wetsuit.  Getting the right sized wetsuit can be a trial-and-error process. For this reason, we advise trying on a range of different wetsuits in different sizes and different makes and models as the exact shape and size of a wetsuit can vary even between wetsuits from the same brand. Quite often the manufactures size guides don’t reflect the best size for you.

THE TECHNOLOGIES

    • Yamamoto

      YAMAMOTO

Orca uses Yamamoto neoprene in all its products, a durable, lightweight and high-performance material. The construction of the panels and the combination of the various high-quality materials place our wetsuits at the forefront of the sector.

    • 40 CELL

Yamamoto 40 technology is the best neoprene on the market, not exclusive to Orca. Stretching this neoprene requires 72% less force than conventional neoprene.

    • 39 CELL

The Yamamoto 39 neoprene has high elasticity that allows it to be used in different areas of mid-range wetsuits. For fast, short-stroke movements, 35% less force is required than with conventional wetsuits. For slow, long-haul movements, 45% less force is required than with conventional wetsuits.

    • SUPER COMPOSITE SKIN (SCS)

The rest of the wetsuits in the Orca triathlon range include this treatment to guarantee optimal performance.

    • INFINITY SKIN 2

The Infinity Skin 2 inner lining provides a feeling of absolute freedom. Designed from a highelasticity nylon incorporating bamboo fibers, this technology is used in the lining of our wetsuit to provide greater flexibility in every stroke. It maintains body heat longer and reduces bad odors and the presence of bacteria in your neoprene. It is also composed of natural and environmentally sustainable materials, to avoid skin irritation and to care for the environment.
